Who is Bob Taylor?
Bob Taylor Cartoon The contest began as a way to honor Bob Taylor, Denver Water’s first Manager of Recreation. A likable, avid year round fisherman, Bob had an infectious enthusiasm for the outdoors. You couldn’t help but like him. He was a champion of the quality fishing experience and worked to develop fishery improvements and stocking programs throughout Colorado. He loved Antero Reservoir, and the Antero Ice Fishing Contest, which which was re-started in 2009 to honor his memory and love of fishing in Antero and across Colorado.
